Rep for The Observer
Are you one of Islington’s many enthusiastic readers of The United Church Observer? Are you interested in encouraging others to become subscribers, too?

This is a once-a-year assignment requiring about four Sundays from mid-February to mid-March. Working with the Church Administrator, you would place notices in the Church bulletin encouraging current and new subscribers to join Islington’s group subscriber plan. During the subscription drive you would be available at coffee hour to renew current subscribers and enroll new ones. Your excellent communication and organizational skills are real assets for this position.

Discovery Quest Birthday Card Ministry
We are looking for someone who is able to donate a little bit of time each month to write Discovery Quest birthday cards from the Church for each Discovery Quest child. You would receive a list of birthdays and addresses each month, write the cards (provided by the Church) to each child celebrating that month, and bring to the Church for mailing.
