| Lenten Prayer Journey |
We invite you to take part in this year’s Lenten study, which we will walk as a prayer journey together. Each Wednesday evening during Lent, a different prayer discipline will be introduced by a guest speaker, as together we learn and explore what it means to walk with Jesus throughout this season. |

Praying the Scriptures
with Maureen Wilson |
Praying the Scriptures is a method of prayer based on the ancient practice of Lectio Divina or sacred reading. As we rush through each day we must make time to hear God speaking to us through the Bible. Hear how you can do this through Praying the Scriptures. |

Prayer Walk
with Michael Shewburg |
Weather permitting, we will use the community as our prayer grounds, walking to ten different locations that call for prayer within a one-block walk of the church. This experience has been eye-opening for our Confirmation and GO Project youth. |

Healing Prayer
with Ed Sparks |
Healing Prayer has been around since the birth of humankind in all cultures of the world. Early Christians included Healing Prayer as a major component of their service to the community. We too pray for others but may find it difficult to have prayers for ourselves. Explore Healing Prayer as a way to participate in life more fully. |
March 10
The Lord’s Prayer
with Mark Aitchison |
Think of Christianity, not primarily as a set of doctrines, a volunteer organization, or a list of appropriate behaviours. Think of Christianity as naming a journey of people. By praying the Lord’s Prayer we are being made into a people whose journey is a sign to the world that God has not abandoned the world as we move through life. Let us explore this prayer together. |
March 17
Praying the Psalms
with Dorothea Vickers |
The Psalms are prayers spoken to God, conveying the whole range of human emotion: adoration, joy, anger, love, despair. In reading the words, the psalmists’ outpourings become our own and we experience a deep connection with the Divine. Discover how Praying the Psalms can help you to connect with God. |
March 24
