Linda Wheler

Linda was ordained in 1997 and joined the ministerial team here at Islington United in September of that year. Linda has a passion for caring for God's people. She, along with her team of Stephen Ministers, tends to those facing life's transitions. She works with the Visitation Committee to provide visits for our homebound members. Linda links with the Elders to continue the pastoral care of the congregation. She also oversees important programs such as Week of Guided Prayer, Communion for the Community, Seniors Celebration, Prayer Link, Prayer and Meditation as well as the healing ministry.

Linda is married to Rick and they have three children, Mark, Ryan, and Kelly and a dog named Marlee.
