Closing the Gap
Thank you to everyone who made an extra gift to help “close the gap” in our financial plan for FY10 (July 2009 to June 2010). During the final three months of the fiscal year – April, May and June – we received $55,591 towards our projected deficit!
We will soon have the total income and spending results for the whole year and these will be reported to you at the financial reporting meeting that will be held Sunday, September 19 – one week prior to the Annual Meeting on Sunday, September 26.
We will have much to celebrate including:
- The time that members, friends and staff have devoted to Islington’s many groups and programs – doing the work God has called us to do
- The talent that members, friends and staff have brought to our congregation’s ministries and programs so that we make a difference in God’s world
- The treasure that members, friends and staff have given to ensure the financial well-being of our work in our congregation, the community, and the world
