We have been Celebrating Stewardship – celebrating all the gifts God has given us to do the work that God is calling us to do. As we near the end of our current fiscal year 2010 (July 1, 2009 through June 30, 2010) we also want to share our current financial status with you.
Based on actual results through March 31, 2010 we have projected the final numbers for June 30, 2010. We have a potential GAP of $65,200 – about 6.6 percent of our spending plan of $989,500. Our staff and committee leaders are managing our expenses very well. The GAP is on the income side.
We need your help and support to CLOSE THE GAP for our ministry together in 2009/2010.
We have 716 envelope holders – 716 potential givers and 529 actual givers who donate from less than $1 to more than $500 per week.
If all 529 of those who received a tax receipt in 2009 were to contribute an additional $123 before June 30 we would CLOSE THE GAP. If even 80% of those 529 respond and contribute an additional $154 we will CLOSE THE GAP. But every gift counts, so if you can make an additional contribution of any amount it will help us meet our goal! And we encourage those who did not make a financial gift in 2009 to consider making one now.
Please use the special green envelopes in the pews or write “CLOSE THE GAP” on your gift. We want to report and celebrate our results with you!
